These are DIGITAL files meant for 3D printing. They ARE NOT physical miniatures!

Sculpted by the incomparable Erramir Orlan of Peculiar Companions, these Spanish Heavy Infantry are intended for armies from the 15th and 16th Centuries. This set of 3D models comes with three poses in eight variants, with a variety of pole arm options, including pikes. All models come as both pre-supported and unsupported STL files.

Historical Context: The 15th and 16th centuries were marked by significant historical events, including the Age of Exploration, colonial expansion, and religious conflicts. The Spanish Light Infantry played a vital role during this period of exploration and conquest.

Battles and Wars:

Conquest of the Aztec Empire (1519-1521): Spanish Light Infantry participated in the conquest of the Aztec Empire in Mexico, contributing their versatility and adaptability to the campaign alongside other Spanish forces. Their mobility and marksmanship were assets in this historic endeavor.

Italian Wars (1494-1559): Spanish Light Infantry were involved in the Italian Wars, a series of conflicts that spanned several decades. They participated in battles such as the Battle of Ravenna (1512), where their ability to engage in rapid maneuvers and skirmishes was essential.

Tactics and Strategies: Spanish Light Infantry excelled in agility and versatility. They were skilled with a variety of weapons, including muskets, crossbows, and swords. Their tactics involved hit-and-run attacks, ambushes, and rapid maneuvering, making them valuable in skirmishes and unconventional warfare.

These infantrymen were often deployed as skirmishers to disrupt enemy formations and harass the enemy's flanks. They used their marksmanship and mobility to strike quickly and then withdraw before the enemy could retaliate.

Printing at 100% resolution will yield a true 28mm miniature. Prints at 105% are slightly more in scale with Perry Miniatures and 110% prints will be in a compatible scale with Warhammer Fantasy miniatures.
