Flames of War: Finnish Infantry Platoon (Late-War)

An Infantry Company (Jalkaväkikomppania) is led by a Captain who is a veteran of years of fighting. Finnish divisions have had to be reduced from three to two regiments each of infantry, but they are still balanced units with infantry, light infantry (Jääkäri scouts), machine-guns and mortars.

The Jääkäri were Finland’s elite light infantry. The Jääkäri (yay-kah-ree, or hunters) scout ahead and provide flank security. Many Finnish soldiers are hunters and woodsmen, familiar with the country and completely at home in it. Their ability to advance silently and undetected is remarkable. They are aggressively led and their role is as much assault as reconnaissance.

This package contains one Formation Suomi SMG Team, one Unit Leader M26 and M39 Rifle Teams, six M26 MG and M39 Rifle Teams, one Lahti Anti-tank Rifle Team, one Panzerschreck Anti-tank Team, one 50mm Mortar Team (Mid-War) and two Flame-thrower teams (Mid-War).
