To start your journey with Flames of War, you'll first need to purchase a Starter Set. These sets contain everything you need to dive into your first games, including miniatures, dice, terrain, a rulebook, and unit cards.

After familiarizing yourself with the rules and playing a few games, you can start expanding your forces by purchasing unit packs or army boxes. This will allow you to field a larger variety of units and customize your armies to fit your preferred strategies and playstyle.

Gameplay in Flames of War revolves around commanding your units to move, shoot, and assault, trying to outmaneuver and outgun your opponent's forces. The game uses a unique 'You Go, I Go' system, where players alternate activating and resolving actions for their units.
