These are DIGITAL files meant for 3D printing. They ARE NOT physical miniatures!

Sculpted by the incomparable Erramir Orlan of Peculiar Companions, this Spanish Mounted Command is intended for armies from the 15th and 16th Centuries. This set of 3D models includes a commander with multiple arm options, as well as banner and trumpet arms for Spanish Heavy Cavalry. All models come as both pre-supported and unsupported STL files.

The 15th and 16th centuries were marked by significant historical events, including the Age of Exploration, colonial expansion, and conflicts that reshaped the world. The Spanish Mounted Command played a pivotal role during this period of exploration, conquest, and military innovation.

Battles and Wars:

Conquest of the Americas: Spanish Mounted Commanders were central figures in the conquistador expeditions that led to the conquest and colonization of the Americas. They provided strategic guidance and leadership during campaigns such as Hernán Cortés' conquest of the Aztec Empire (1519-1521).

Italian Wars (1494-1559): Spanish Mounted Commanders played key roles in the Italian Wars, a series of conflicts that spanned several decades. Their strategic brilliance and cavalry expertise were evident in battles like the Battle of Pavia (1525).

Tactics and Strategies: Spanish Mounted Commanders were masters of cavalry tactics, formations, and battlefield strategy. Their tactics involved:

Cavalry Charges: They led and coordinated devastating cavalry charges, utilizing the speed and shock value of mounted troops to disrupt enemy formations and create chaos on the battlefield.

Combined Arms: Mounted Commanders often worked in conjunction with infantry units to create a balanced force. This combination of cavalry and infantry allowed for flexible and adaptable strategies.

Strategic Maneuvering: They were adept at strategic maneuvering, using the mobility of their mounted troops to gain advantageous positions on the battlefield and exploit weaknesses in the enemy's lines.

Printing at 100% resolution will yield a true 28mm miniature. Prints at 105% are slightly more in scale with Perry Miniatures and 110% prints will be in a compatible scale with Warhammer Fantasy miniatures.
